Design and construction of small dams in Sahelian and Equatorial Africa

Abstract

This book is devoted to design of small dams (less than 15 m high) in the African context. It deals with site choice, design of spillways, design of embankment, masonry and concrete dams, with details on construction works. One chapter concerns maintenance and inspection of dams. This book should be usefull for owners and engineers, involved in dam design and operation.
