Climate change in sub-Saharan Africa, from vulnerability to adaptation

Abstract

The 12th Geographical Days of Côte d'Ivoire (JGCI-2020) had for theme “Climate change in sub-Saharan Africa, from vulnerability to adaptation”. They aimed to involve researchers, international organizations and African governments in a concerted response to ensure a better understanding of vulnerabilities and of the process of adaptation to climate change. They were articulated around 3 axes:AXIS 1: Disruption of the climate system.AXIS 2: The effects of global warming.AXIS 3: Adaptations to climate change.
